UPSC is conducting Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Exam on 4th August 2024
Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on 04th August, 2024 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Armed Police Forces viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
The Examination will be held in accordance with the Rules for the published by Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gazette of India dated 24th April, 2024. The tentative examination number of vacancies to be filled are as follows:

| CRPF | 120 |
| CISF | 100 |
| ITBP | 58 |
| SSB | 42 |
| Total | 506 |
Candidates are required to apply online only. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination.
