DRDO Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2024 – CVRDE (DRDO- Ministry of Defence, Avadi) wants to engage young and meritorious Indian nationals as Junior Research Fellows who desire to pursue research in the areas related to AFV technologies
Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, Min. of Defence, Avadi is involved in the Design & Development of Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) for the Army & Spin-offs for other Services (Air Force & Navy). CVRDE has the Core Competency in the technologies relevant to Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) viz., Turret & Weapon System, Chassis & Automotive System, Powerpack (Engine & Transmission) Technologies, Running Gear Technologies, Vehicle Electricals, Vehicle Electronics and Vehicle Communication etc. Also, CVRDE undertakes collaborative research with IITs, IISc Bangalore and other leading academic institutions.

| Documents to be enclosed: Self attested certificates / testimonials regarding Date of Birth, essential and higher qualifications along with marksheets, and GATE score, caste etc. If any document / certificate furnished are in a language other than English, a duly self attested transcript in English of the same is to be attached. Candidates who are in regular service whether in permanent or temporary will be required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the Cadre Controlling Authority/ Present Employer at the time of Screening & Written test. | |||
| Written Test and interview at CVRDE, Avadi: a) Date, time and venue of written test (objective type) and interview will be directly intimated to the shortlisted candidates by CVRDE, via email. b) Candidates are required to produce original certificates / testimonials at the time of interview. c) Written test (objective type) of all eligible candidates will be conducted after verification of certificate / testimonials. d) Candidates shortlisted from written test will be required to attend interview at CVRDE on the same day. e) The candidates must come prepared to overstay for a day or Two to complete the process. f) Candidates should make their own arrangement for their stay and transport in Chennai. | |||
| General Instructions (for DRDO Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2024): a) The applicants should ensure their eligibility criteria in respect of age, essential qualifications, etc. b) Only those candidates who have awarded Degree/Provisional Certificate are eligible to apply. c) Those who were already awarded JRF position in any of the DRDO Laboratories/Centres earlier, are not eligible to apply again. d) Only candidates applied within the due date will be shortlisted & intimated for further written test and interview at CVRDE through email. f) Shortlisted candidates only have to attend the written test and interview along with a copy of the intimation sent by CVRDE. g) Candidates are advised to keep visiting DRDO website (https://drdo.gov.in) for updates issued from time to time. h) Applicants are advised not to change their registered mobile number and email as vital information will be intimated through SMS/ email. i) Candidates have to produce all certificates, in original, for verification before commencement of Written test.
