Important Instructions about Railway Recruitment Board RRB 2024:
- Please read the information given in the Detailed Notification of Railway Recruitment Board RRB 2024 (CEN) thoroughly before filling up the ONLINE application.
- Candidates must ensure that they possess/fulfil all the prescribed educational and technical qualifications for the post on or before the closing date for submitting application. Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational / technical qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.
- Each candidate is allowed to apply to only one RRB. Only one common ONLINE application should be submitted for any or all of the notified posts as per their eligibility. Applications should be submitted only through any of the official RRB websites listed above. The selection of RRB once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one RRB will lead to rejection of all the applications.
- Crucial date for claim of SC / ST / OBC / EWS / EBC status or any other benefit viz. fee concession, reservation, age relaxation, etc., where not specified otherwise, will be the closing date for submission of ONLINE applications.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed medical standards for the post(s) they are opting for. Candidates who are found medically unsuitable for the opted post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.
- There shall be two stages of Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification (DV) and medical examination (ME).
Shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT:
RRB-wise shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall normally be done at the rate of 15 times the number of vacancies. The vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration. The shortlisting for 2nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in the 1st Stage CBT. This will be as per reservation of vacancies as applicable. The RRB-wise shortlisted candidates for 2nd Stage CBT, shall be informed through the official websites of RRBs and via e-mail. The candidates can download their e-call letter for appearing in the 2nd Stage CBT through e-mail.
